Meet Craig Chapman, a man of many talents but most of all an artist who paints with passion. His vivid canvasses convey emotively from deep within adorning walls from South Africa to Europe and USA.

Bio
Craig has a rich and varied history – One of 7 children, following his passion for horses, managed a stud farm in Ceres and then spent several happy years in France, first in DeauVille and then in Chantilly and then in Bayeux, breeding, training and preparing yearlings for sales.
Thereafter, running from the European winter and searching for the illusive meaning of life, he lived in Israel for 3 years on a kibbutz, and there he learned his passion for food.
On his return to South Africa he studied at the Cordon Bleu institute in Johannesburg. Craig was the chef at the Burgundy restaurant in Hermanus for several years, before opening his own restaurant – The Cuckoo Tree – which he ran, very successfully, for 16 years.
He has a passion for animals which results in a little menagerie – parrots and koi fish, silky chickens and stray dogs – a transient population of well loved and wonderful creatures.
Combine the food, the great outdoors, the animals and the man, and the essence of his work becomes obvious – passion and compassion, boundless interest and introspection - all contribute to these joyful and deeply meaningful canvasses.
